TITANIUM PIERCINGS

Our piercings are crafted from high-quality titanium (G23 / ASTM F-136) – a medically certified material known for its exceptional biocompatibility. This makes them exceptionally suitable for sensitive skin and ideal for those with nickel allergies. Thanks to its hypoallergenic properties, titanium is the best choice for both new and healed piercings.

 

PIERCING BARS

All our piercings have a 1.2 mm bar gauge, which is standard for most ear piercings. We offer four different bar lengths, so you can always choose the best fit:

• 6mm (standard) – perfect for fully healed piercings
• 8mm – recommended for new piercings or when experiencing swelling. The extra space prevents pressure and promotes healthy healing.
• 10 mm – great when you need a little more room, for example if the piercing isn't completely straight or your ear naturally requires a little extra space.
• 12mm – not commonly used and usually only applicable in special cases, such as when your piercer advises this for severe swelling.

Choosing the right barbell length isn't always easy. It depends on the shape of your ear and how the piercing was done. That's why we recommend consulting a professional piercer first. This way, you'll be sure to choose the right size. You can also have it checked in a store – we're happy to do that, of course. We also sell individual bars for €3.99.

 

SCREW THREAD

Our piercings are internally threaded. This means the barbell is completely smooth on the outside, and the threading is on the inside. The ball or stone has a small screw that you screw into the barbell. Internal threading is considered the best choice by professional piercers because:

• Less irritation during insertion:
  Because the bar is completely smooth, nothing rubs against your skin or the fresh canal of your piercing. This prevents tissue damage and reduces the risk of infection.
• Safer for new piercings:
  Internally threaded jewelry is the standard in professional piercing studios, precisely because it's safer when inserting a new piercing. It contributes to cleaner healing.
• More comfortable to wear:
  The smooth bar slides more smoothly through your piercing, which makes it much more comfortable to wear – even if you change your jewelry regularly.
• Better for sensitive skin:
  Due to less friction and risk of damage, this type of thread is ideal for people with sensitive skin or a sensitive piercing.
• Tighter closure:
  Internal threading often provides a more secure hold, making your piercing less likely to loosen or get lost.
